Tunisia becomes a major buyer of Azerbaijani crude, imports more than double

Tunisia imported 429,376 tonnes of Azerbaijani crude oil worth $266.3 million between January and August 2026, according to Azerbaijan's customs data, 2.3 times the volume and 2.6 times the value of the same period last year. SOCAR Trading named Tunisia one of the main buyers of Azerbaijani crude on 25 September, saying the company is also among the main suppliers to a Tunisian refinery.
