Tunisia's industrial output rose 1.5 percent in the second quarter, INS says

Tunisia's National Institute of Statistics published data on August 18 showing the industrial production index up 1.5 percent year on year in the second quarter of 2026, and 2.9 percent over the first half. Agri-food and mechanical and electrical industries drove the gain and oil refining surged, while mining fell 9.9 percent and chemical industries fell 6.4 percent in the quarter.
