Rights league mobilizes over Ayachi Hammami's prison conditions

The Tunisian League for Human Rights called a rally outside Monastir prison on Tuesday to protest the detention conditions of lawyer and activist Ayachi Hammami, who is serving a five-year sentence over an alleged plot against state security. The league's local sections called his transfer from Mornaguia to Monastir arbitrary and said his mail and reading material have been delayed for months.
