Lawyers plan to join UGTT's October 17 march from the Bab Bnet courthouse

Tunisian lawyers plan to set off from the Bab Bnet courthouse at 10:00 on October 17, passing through Bab Souika, to join the national march the UGTT and eight other organisations called for 11:00 at Place Mohamed Ali, the bar association's president, Boubaker Bethabet, said. He urged lawyers and "all Tunisians" to take part "without hesitation or fear," in a mobilisation whose stated demands span purchasing power, jobs, public services and judicial independence.
