Dollar tops 3 dinars for the first time since May 2025

The dollar crossed above 3 Tunisian dinars on the interbank market on Tuesday, a level it had not reached in nearly a year and a half, having gained 2.44 percent over the past month. A stronger dollar raises costs for energy and industrial importers and for servicing foreign debt, while it benefits exporters paid in dollars; analysts caution the milestone may be temporary.
