Tunisia's olive oil exports top 1.4 billion euros for the season
Tunisia exported 368,000 tonnes of olive oil in the first nine months of the 2025-2026 season, up 55% on the year and worth about 1.4 billion euros, according to the National Agricultural Observatory (Onagri). Extra virgin oil made up 84% of the volume and the EU took 57% of it, led by Spain, but most sales were still in bulk rather than packaged product, so prices grew far more slowly than volumes.
