This site is built to be read, not to read you. Here is everything it does and does not collect.

What we collect: almost nothing

Tunisia News has no accounts, no newsletter, no comment forms and no cookies of its own. Reading it requires giving us nothing, and we build no profile of any reader and never try to work out who you are.

For audience numbers we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool that counts visits in aggregate without cookies, without fingerprinting and without following you across other sites. We see totals such as how many people read a page and from which country, never who you are.

To count how many people read the paper, each page asks our own server for a tiny invisible file. It carries the page address and the site you came from, nothing else: no cookie, no fingerprint, no identifier. The server's log line does record your IP address, as every web server's does, and we delete those lines automatically after 72 hours. All that survives is a daily total: how many readers, from which countries, on which pages.

Where the site runs

The site is served from a server in the European Union, behind Cloudflare's network. Like any web infrastructure, Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and block abuse, under its own privacy policy. We do not keep server-side access logs of our own.

Our Facebook app

The app named "Tunisia News poster" exists for one purpose: publishing this paper's own stories to its own Facebook page and reading that page's own statistics. It requests no permissions about anyone else, collects no data from any Facebook user, has no login and stores nothing about you. Your relationship with Facebook itself is governed by Meta's terms, not ours.

Data deletion

We hold no accounts and no profiles, so there is no file about you to delete. The one piece of personal data the site touches is the IP address in the server log described above, which deletes itself after 72 hours. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date above changes with it. We will not weaken it quietly: this page says what the system actually does, and it is updated when the system changes.
