22 students hospitalized after food poisoning at Sidi Bouzid school

Twenty-two students at Sidi Bouzid's lycée pilote were taken to hospital overnight Friday into Saturday after a meal left them ill, regional health official Béchir Saïdi told TAP. All were discharged after treatment, and health authorities have taken samples to trace the source of the poisoning. Similar poisonings have hit Tunisian schools four times since 2023, in Meknassi, Sidi Ali Ben Aoun, Zriba and Soliman.
