Attacks on Tunisia's public transport cost the sector nearly 4 million dinars, minister says

Tunisia's transport minister told a conference in Ben Arous that 403 buses were targeted and 277 transport staff faced verbal or physical violence over 2025 and 2026, for losses of close to 4 million dinars. The event closed an awareness campaign on stone-throwing at trains, run by the national railway company SNCFT with youth groups.
