Tunisia signs 600-million-dinar deal with Chinese consortium to rebuild El Menzah stadium
The Ministry of Equipment signed a 600-million-dinar contract with China Railway Construction Engineering Group and China CAMC Engineering to fully rebuild the Olympic Stadium at El Menzah, closed since 2019, with work expected to take 30 to 36 months. The stadium, built for the 1967 Mediterranean Games, will get solar power and rainwater systems alongside new safety and accessibility standards.
