Tunisia faces a fresh question over its neutrality on Western Sahara

After the UN Security Council failed to renew the Western Sahara peacekeeping mission when the US and Russia vetoed each other's draft resolutions, Morocco declared that 35 years of UN process had effectively ended. Tunisian commentary is now asking whether Tunis will finally abandon the neutrality it has kept since relations with Rabat froze in 2022, when Tunisia hosted Polisario leader Brahim Ghali.
