Netanyahu's Likud alleges Israeli election fraud by Arab parties, without evidence

Prime Minister Netanyahu accused Arab-led parties of 'stealing' Israel's election through bribery, threats and forged ballots, singling out a visit by Arab-Israeli lawmaker Ahmad Tibi to Qatar days before the vote. Netanyahu's camp has not produced evidence, and Israel's Central Election Commission says it has found no sign of systematic violations. That count, already reported by this paper, gave Netanyahu's bloc 53 seats to the opposition's 48 and Arab-led parties a record 19 seats; 61 are needed to govern.
