Saied discusses jobless graduates' law with ministers as their march nears the capital

President Kais Saied met his prime minister and employment minister this week to discuss enforcing Law 18 of 2025, which promises public-sector hiring for graduates who have been unemployed for years, saying "today's unemployed did not become so by choice." The meeting came as graduates who had marched on foot from Sidi Bouzid since September 27 demanding the same law's enforcement were nearing the capital.
