Tunisia draws 1-1 with Uganda in new coach Chaabani's debut

Searches for Tunisia's national football team spiked on Thursday after the side drew 1-1 with Uganda in Rades in new coach Meine Chaabani's first match, the opening round of Group H in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Adam Arous put Tunisia ahead in the 12th minute, but Uganda's Rogers Muto equalised in the 67th, and Tunisia, chasing a 19th finals appearance, could not break down a compact Ugandan defence despite late pressure.
